The international name "Burgman" was chosen by Suzuki with the help of a European consulting firm to imply status and practicality, and it is derived from the German word "Burg," meaning "castle," which signifies high status and occasionally a hero. The 電動伯格曼 features a swappable lithium-ion battery pack that can be recharged at Honda Mobile Power Pack e: swapping stations. The swappable batteries are provided by Gachaco, a company formed by Japan's Big Four (Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, and Yamaha). This collaboration is in line with the guidelines of Europe's Swappable Batteries Motorcycle Consortium, which includes Honda and Yamaha as original members.
